I can’t feel the nails in my skin.
Tearing just to see if there’s something left to bleed
or there’s a draught inside of me.

How many wounds are enough to get used to the pain?

No matter how hard my grip things simply slip away.
I wish there was someone I could a blame;
a god or a doctor, or a nuclear reactor.
But it seems like the wind just swayed in and
carried the spark to ignite what I wanted to save.

How much time does it take to heal the wounds of absence?
Will the scars make me fear or leave me numb to what’s ahead?
Or am I better off dead?
